The Wired and Wireless Group in Xilinx design communication interfaces for Wired and Wireless applications. This involves the design of high performance analog and digital circuits such as ADCs, DACs, DSP IP and high speed serial interfaces which are integrated into FPGA devices. These devices are used in a variety of applications such as automotive, wireless communications and medical imaging.
At Xilinx, the successful candidate will work as part of an IC design team and will get exposure to the process of analog and mixed signal design, digital design and/or digital functional verification. In particular the candidate will get to use industry standard design tools (including Digital Design and implementation tools, Spice simulators, Virtuoso layout tools , Cadence schematic capture ) as well as data post processing methodologies using standard approaches ( e.g. Matlab, Python, Perl
