Responsibilities;

  • Reactive process development: Software vulnerability management 
    • ongoing, regular process of identifying, assessing, reporting on, managing and remediating security vulnerabilities across endpoints and systems with our products
    • Maintain the list of open source SW used in our products
    • Evaluation of possible or available fixes
  • Design of and contribution to security process to ensure system resilience in respect of external attacks
  • Organization of security checks.
    • Penetration test overview / execution / management.
  • Linking to other entity security domains/experts within Xilinx

Education Requirements

  • University / University of applied sciences / University of cooperative education: Master’s degree/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Informatics required

Experience

  • Background in linux open source development.
    • CVE lists.
    • Open source flow (for own contributions to open source).
  • Experience on applying/using security measures in SW development

  • Understand complex use case scenarios (Hard- and Software)
