We are looking for a Business Operations intern to join our team in January 2022 for 3+ months. This person should be detail oriented, willing to learn and adapt in a fast changing environment and have a strong business acumen. You will assist in working with Product Marketing in understanding the value proposition, competitive landscape, and how to practice value based pricing for both our silicon and non silicon products. The position will entail additional non technical experience related to pricing and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads or supports projects or initiatives that center on the development of innovative pricing strategies that help Xilinx differentiate, reflect Xilinx's integrated business model and solution provider status in the industry
  • Generates ad hoc trend reports as required in support of business status reporting and future planning (e.g., Xilinx growth metrics, key account directions, industry consumption trends, customer functionality needs, competitive market share)
  • Maintains the integrity of Xilinx pricing, and ensures their compliance to established financial controls (e.g., SOX compliance)
  • Accurately documents pricing processes both to ensure consistent understandings and to support sales and business operations development and price positioning with customers
  • Demonstrates the analytical and diplomatic skills to prepare for and execute price modeling
  • Support other pricing team members in analytics as per needs
  • Use knowledge of the technology industry, sales and products to holistically understand customer pricing

Education Requirements
 

  • 3rd Year + Student enrolled in BS Electrical Or enrolled in MS in Electrical or Business Management
  • Understanding of Processor/MCU/FPGA or Datacenter boards will be an added advantage
  • Candidate MUST have strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a proficiency in Database systems & Microsoft Office products. Complex modeling and data visualization skills (e.g. Tableau) would be a plus
  • Thrives on responsibility and lives for the next big challenge
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to multi task in a self-managed environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A team player and collaborative worker with a positive attitude
  • Duration: 3 months minimum to 6 months maximum
  • Hours: Full Time (40hr/wk)
  • Ideally, we are looking for a candidate to join our team in January 2022
