The Ethernet IP development team at Xilinx is looking for a Fall 2021 Co-Op Student.

You will be working side-by-side with a team of industry-leading Hardware and Software engineers who are developing solutions for the next generation of communications networks. Come work with us on the best-in-class, ACAP devices and IP.

Successful Internship candidates will work as part of a team on projects which may include :

  • Regression management and analysis of simulation results
  • Verification testbench upgrades for automated collection of performance metrics
  • Testcase development to target specific scenarios identified in silicon validation
  • Hands-on experience with gate level simulations and debugging tools
  • Creation of documentation and reports of results


Education Requirements

Requirements for this position include:

  • 1st, 2nd, or 3th-year Undergraduate Student in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science
  • Experience using Java, Python and C/C++ to develop software drivers, scripts or applications
  • Experience/Understanding of Ethernet Networking protocol (desired but not required)
  • Experience using Hardware Description Languages such as VHDL or Verilog (desired but not required)
  • Experience with the Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado  (desired but not required)
  • User-level experience with Linux and Windows
  • A strong passion for technology and a willingness to jump in, learn new techniques and share findings
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Looking for a candidate to start in September 2021 for 4 months, full-time (40hr/wk)
  • Remote workers will be considered
