Description

Xilinx is seeking a Lab Engineer to assist with the provision of on-site support of Test Systems to the Engineering Teams.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing test systems
  • Provide consultation to Engineering Teams
  • Assist Lab Manager and/or relevant parties with Project work
  • Escalating issues to relevant parties
  • Provisioning Test Systems
  • Installing/Removing Network Adapters
  • Cabling system setups as required
  • Keeping the lab environment clean and tidy

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in an IT or Lab support environment
  • Good working knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
  • Knowledge of Hardware components
  • Knowledge of networking
