Xilinx is looking for a software engineer with expertise in Algorithms and Graph Theory, as well as strong C++ programming skills to work on a critical Place and Route projects for next generation state of the art Vivado Backend tool.
This position focuses on research and development of novel multi-threaded and multi-process algorithms, ML techniques for Placement and Routing with the aim of improving Quality of Results (QoR), Runtime and Memory, by orders of magnitude. The person will also:
• Be responsible to evaluate new FPGA architecture features and its impact on existing EDA tools
• Interact with customers, helping them on their critical design needs
• Work with marketing and application engineering to understand the customer needs and architect new features
Solid foundation in data structures, graph theory, and software engineering with strong analytical and debugging skills
Expertise in C++
Knowledge of Data structures, Graph Theory and Algorithms.
Knowledge of EDA Algorithms, Distributed Computing and ML techniques is a plus.
Knowledge of Digital Design and FPGA is a plus.
BS with 8+ years of exp or MS 6+ years of exp or PhD with 3+ years of exp in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related equivalent
