The Wired Engineering team designs high speed serial interface systems which are integrated into FPGA devices. These devices are used in a variety of applications such as automotive, wireline and wireless communications. Successful implementation of these serial communications solutions requires an advanced knowledge of mixed signal design techniques. At Xilinx, the successful candidate will be trained in the use of advanced design and verification tools and will be mentored by experienced design engineers. Successful candidates will work as part of an experienced global team executing projects in advanced 7nm (FinFET) CMOS manufacturing processes. Project tasks will include: analog and digital circuit design (some examples of circuits are CTLE, ADC, Multi-GHz PLL design for Rx & Tx serial solutions running up to 112+Gbps); Architecture investigations for next generation circuits; circuit simulation; device debug and characterization.
Xilinx actively encourages employee development through attendance at formal training courses. Paper submissions for leading edge circuit publications and conferences are strongly encouraged. Design responsibilities regularly provide opportunities for patent applications for novel circuits
