The Xilinx Board Operations team is looking for a passionate, adaptable and innovative individual to program manage and establish processes for the next-generation Xilinx production boards projects including Alveo.  As a board Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will lead and manage Alveo and Xilinx Evaluation Board programs working closely with marketing, planning, engineering and operations team to ensure successful execution of the program from definition to production release.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive alignment with Marketing, Engineering and Planning organizations to prepare industry leading new product release processes, schedules and shipment
  • Understanding key technical implementations to ensure alignment on strategic priorities, on-time completion, scope and budget
  • Drive world-class time to market NPI board release schedules by working with Design, Thermal/Mechanical, Reliability, Solutions and Operations teams to optimize processes and requirements
  • Drive NPI component management to ensure production component availability and improve overall cost structure of new products
  • Define and establish board production release and change order processes to ensure alignment and consistency across Design, Operations and contract manufacturers
  • Coordinate with operations team to ensure seamless transition from engineering to full production ramp meeting all customer demand requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of Technical Project Management experience and a demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes and tools
  • In depth knowledge of PCB board design, SMT manufacturing, test, certification and reliability qualification
  • Detailed understanding of Agile product lifecycle implementation and best practices
  • Experience in working with OEM/Hyperscalers and understands their requirements
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management
  • Experience working with quality management approaches, techniques, and principles to ensure quality
  • General understanding of data center, networking, database and video systems applications
  • Self-motivated individual that who enjoys establishing processes to improve the overall efficiency of the team

Education Requirements

B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field with 15+ years of relevant industry experience or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field with 12+ years of relevant industry experience .
