The candidate will have both depth and breadth in the related disciplines of supporting customer programs that involve cross functional organizations, in the forms of Silicon, Packages, Boards, IPs, Software and Design Services. These disciplines include but are not limited to planning, feasibility study, design, verification, prototyping, implementation & integration, characterization, validation, yield, production, packaging, assembly and qualification, as well as organizational administrative programs. An engineering degree or demonstration of competency in several of these areas is required. Good understanding of technologies, technical development process and methodology and customer facing experience are required. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills are a must.




Performs the customer project coordination role for complex customer design that span multiple sites and/or multiple years and/or multiple organizations to complete;

Project planning of schedule, scope, resource allocation, goals, and milestones. Routine cross function communication and sync-up, as well as progress tracking, status reporting of complex programs;

Lay out of program development plan for each phase, and define deliverables & criteria with technical leads. Monitor progress, status and result;

Drives resolution of complex customer issues related to project scope, schedule or resources across multiple organizations by securing the support of Xilinx and customer management;

Reports out to Xilinx and customer management at customer reviews or other customer management forums;

Understand overall customer project and development processes to ensure functional organizational goals will meet requirements and schedule with appropriate resourcing;

Establish and maintain outstanding customer networks, as required;



BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline is required. 6+ years of program management experience in semiconductor experience with BS degree; less with MS degree;

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Project …), Tracking tools (JIRA) and Confluence; Understanding of Program Management Methodology such as PMM and/or others are nice to have;

Organize and chair customer and cross function team meetings, tracking progress, issues, action items, and report status at summary and detail levels.

Good problem-solving skills, when working on complex problems involving new or constantly changing parameters and unexpected challenges.

Exercise outstanding initiative, judgment and decision-making ability in dealing with complex factors that are not easily evaluated for which there is little precedent on how to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to problems;

Work with the team to complete projects on schedule and will succeed when receiving general guidance on new assignments.

Prior engineering design and development experience is a bonus;

Ability to learn on the job;

Outstanding presentation skills, both oral and written are a must
