We are looking for a detail oriented individual for a CAD Program Manager role who will work with the engineering teams to deliver innovative and quality products with efficiency while meeting the budget and various deadlines. 

 

The ideal candidate will be able use his/her semiconductor design expertise to manage CAD development projects, align and track major design/CAD milestones, provide progress and report out for the management team, and ensure successful delivery of CAD deliverables. This will also require the candidate to build consensus across different functional teams including design, integration, verification, and software teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Participate in early planning of new projects as well as resourcing and scheduling
  • Align individual CAD flow milestones and flow tasks with design milestones and identify/resolve any schedule misalignment and identify any major risks or dependencies
  • Coordinate project working groups involving design methodology, CAD, integration, and other cross functional teams
  • Use JIRA to track CAD deliverables, follow up on delinquencies, and report out on overall project health
  • Coordinate CAD training sessions, record training sessions, and manage the training web site for employee access
  • Coordinate CAD operation review meetings and submit monthly CAD reports
  • Facilitate informal sharing between different CAD organizations and cross functional teams across different geographical locations
  • Use Tableau to track overall design block delivery metrics

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • BS with 5+ years of exp or MS 3+ years of exp or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related equivalent 
  • Experience in project management in managing RTL2GDS processes and ASIC/EDA product cycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and Tableau is highly recommended
  • We look to you to participate and drive technical discussions, ask probing questions, and work with the team to pull project concepts details, schedules, and solutions to issues.
  • A background in successfully negotiating conflicting priorities and driving results
  • Attention to detailed is required.
  • Must understand the importance of processes and be skillful enough to drive efficient processes throughout the organization
