Support the Xilinx Corporate Development team in its M&A (mergers and acquisitions) activities. This highly visible position will be a key part of the Xilinx Corp Dev Integration team but will also work directly with functional and cross-functional Xilinx teams, target/acquired company employees, and other external parties. The Project Manager/Business Process Manager leads M&A integration projects end-to-end to ensure they meet all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, applying developed subject matter knowledge to solve business issues and drive value; he/she also plays a critical role in furthering and scaling cross-functional integration practices through structured methodology development and process.
Job Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
Set up and administer project infrastructure and management tools for efficient and scalable tracking of multiple, simultaneous, complex M&A projects
Apply developed subject matter knowledge to actively engage in team conversations and help solve common and even complex business issues
Work directly with all functions across the company to craft and implement repeatable and scalable Xilinx acquisition integration processes to deliver expected deal outcomes
Establish and update/revise standards and core practices with lessons learned from each acquisition
Use your skillset and influence as integration process/methodology owner and caretaker; advise team on how best to apply, customize, streamline and evolve cross-functional methodology
Assist in creation of content for and ongoing maintenance of/process surrounding playbooks and templates for CorpDev and company organizational learning, scalability, and continual improvement. Create tools and processes to monitor and signal process adherence and master data gaps to drive adherence to process.
Experienced and proven Project/Program Manager with 3+ years’ experience preferred. Adept with project management tools and analysis
Process development experience: able to distill requirements, plan, design/visualize, communicate and achieve buy-in, implement
Able to facilitate meetings and workshops ranging from small and focused to broader, and influence participants; can lead a group in finding resolution to abstract/complex business problems
Detail-oriented, structured, high sense of urgency and ownership, attention to follow-through
Excellent written (email, powerpoint) and verbal communication skills across multiple levels of the organization
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, flex with changes of direction and priorities
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, Visio and similar tools for analyzing, organizing, visualizing. collaborating, tracking, reporting and communicating
Formal process improvement training (e.g. Six Sigma Green Belt) and application
Experience with SmartSheets, Tableau or other ‘data management’ tools
M&A integration experience
Experience leading or acting as key member of an enterprise PMO
Experience in one or more core of these functional areas: IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing
