We are looking for a talented, self-driven and motivated engineer to be part of a technology development team in Xilinx. This team develops cutting-edge technologies used in our products and its team members have ample opportunities to grow their technical knowledge and complex problem-solving skills
Your primary focus is to characterize ICs and to set up a database to manage all the test data.
Here is where this role get interesting as the additional dimension Analytics and Software Development will be applied to automation and scripting (Perl or Python) for data collection and access in customized database. This engineer will be involved in the characterization and processing of test data collected from test vehicles used in the development of advanced technologies.
You will establish and maintain a customized database using a commercial database platform to store, query, and distribute IC test data.
Technical focus is the characterization of test chips in a R&D environment
Education Requirements & Experience
BSEE with minimum of 5 years of experience or MSEE with at least 3 years of experience in Silicon device/IC characterization and software programming.
Familiarity with basic database structure / SQL is a must. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl is required. Basic knowledge of web servers is a plus.
Familiarity with basic concepts of IC design and layout is required.
Familiarity with common lab instruments such as DVM and oscilloscope is required. Experience with wafer probing is a plus.
Good team/interpersonal skills are required.
