Senior Layout Engineer
The Analog Mixed Signal team design high performance analog and digital circuits such as ADCs, DACs, references, sensors and high speed interfaces which are integrated into FPGA devices. These devices are used in a variety of applications such as automotive, wireless communications and medical imaging.
At Xilinx, the successful candidate will work as part of a team executing projects in advanced 28nm, 20nm, 16nm and 7nm FinFET CMOS manufacturing processes. Project tasks will include: floorplanning,power grind and signal flow planning; advanced transistor layout and physical design verifications
Strong foundation in layout design for mixed analog / digital ICs in advanced CMOS process geometries
Extensive floorplanning, power grid and signal flow planning experience
Experience in LVS, DRC, ERC, ANT, ESD and LU
Excellent understanding of signal and clock shielding and isolation techniques
Excellent understanding of process non-idealities such as STI stress, well proximity effect and CMP effects and design strategies to mitigate these effects
Excellent written and oral communication skills are also required
Ability to work well as part of a team
Excellent problem solving skills
