Xilinx is seeking a Senior Analyst who will play a key role helping to enable Xilinx’s strategic initiatives in Corporate Development and Investor Relations.  This is a multi-faceted role spanning all aspects of the Investor Relations and Corporate Development teams, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Investor Relations. 

 

We are looking for a hands-on, creative, analytical and detailed oriented analyst who is familiar with both the technology industry and overall stock market dynamics and players.  The role will rotational between the Corporate Development and Investor Relations teams and require the candidate to independently handle multiple projects that span different aspects of these organizations, including but not limited to conducting industry research, financial and valuation analysis, due diligence, and creation of executive and board-level materials.  This is a highly visible role that interacts with Xilinx’s most senior leaders.    


Responsibilities:

  • Support Investor Relations team with shareholder analyses and financial analysis / models and quarterly earnings call.
  • Monitor and periodically summarize financial research for the company and industry peers for senior leadership
  • Support creation of investor-facing materials in support of bus tours, investor conferences and road-shows
  • Support analysis and review of investor ownership, targeting and investment industry trends  
  • Project manager for investor events including analyst day and manage ongoing vendor relationships.  Improve and Maintain IR website, working closely with the third-party vendor.
  • Primary person for addressing retail investor queries
  • Support and evaluate corporate venture investments and M&A
  • Track and manage analytics for investor relations, M&A and corporate venture capital
  • Partner with business teams on strategy development, including identifying and prioritizing strategic gaps, evaluating build/buy/partner options and collaborating on target selection criteria and recommendations

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or demonstrated related proficiency
  • +3 years of total work experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance or investment banking
  • Strong technical, business and communication skills
  • Driven & results oriented individual
  • Strong analytical skills; exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling
  • Proven ability to demonstrate strategic and creative thinking
