Xilinx is seeking a Business Intelligence Strategy Manager to join our Wired & Wireless Communications Group (WWG) team based in our HQ in San Jose.

Drive global Forecasting, Management & Mapping of key Programs, working very closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance & Operations
Drive operational business reviews of key accounts – working very closely with Sales & Marketing
Creation of modern, dynamic dashboards across all key Sales Metrics, including Revenue, Pipeline, Backlog, Bookings and Quote activity
Creation of operational dashboards to track operation metrics
Conduct ad hoc analysis on large data sets to identify issues, improve data quality, and analyse new and changing parts of the business
Develop business KPIs and reports, partnering with Marketing & Finance, in order to drive the business strategy
Analyze complex and large amounts of business information to understand and improve Xilinx business practices
Develop, maintain & enhance models to create long range revenue & margin forecasts
Work on key strategic projects aimed at improving processes and results. Use knowledge of the technology industry, sales process and products to holistically understand and implement business processes
Make recommendations based on strong in-depth analysis which mitigate risk and achieve business objectives
Create and deliver presentation material in line with business strategy and other relevant topics.
Utilize solid business and financial acumen when analysing financial impact
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
- MBA/CFS preferred
5+ years of experience as Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or related occupation, semiconductor/telecommunications industry preferred
Strong business acumen
Knowledge of revenue forecasting methodologies and an understanding of the sales life cycle
In-depth analysis of complex business situations
Experienced in the creation of models and reports providing interpretation and insight into business data using various analysis
Strong data visualization skills that can clearly communicate results and insight from complex quantitative analysis in a clear, actionable manner
Excellent communication skills, ability to summarize complex, detailed data to present to executive level staff
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access), advanced skills in Excel are a must
Self-motivated, analytical & meticulous individual who can work with minimal supervision
Comfortable working on fluid, dynamic and ambiguous projects, where tasks become clearer as the project progresses
Have strong oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively across different teams and with internal and stakeholders
