Senior Design Engineer
Xilinx Edinburgh is adding to its communications IP design team. This is
a fantastic opportunity for an Electronic Engineer with a passion for
implementation of DSP algorithms to join the Xilinx Digital Signal
Processing design team.
You will have access to world-class development
infrastructure and have a specific focus on developing IP for the AI
Engines in Xilinx's latest Versal product range. The AI Engine array
forms a powerful new type of processor, allowing very efficient
implementation of many compute operations required in communications
systems. You'll be working in a well-established team responsible for
the design and development of communications IP components for use by
the Xilinx's many customers.

Skills and Experience
C or SystemC targeting Vector processing DSPs.
DSP and wireless communication technology development
RTL design (VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog)
Simulation tools (Questa, Xilinx simulator, VCS, IES)
Strong digital design skills
Experience of the following would also be beneficial:
Analyzing and isolating RTL and test bench issues
Scripting languages such as Perl and TCL
Use of FPGA development boards
