Senior Design Engineer
Xilinx Edinburgh is adding to its IP design team. This position offers
an outstanding opportunity to become part of the Xilinx Digital Signal
Processing design team. In this role you will be joining an experienced
team to work on the design of DSP functional blocks for use in multiple
You will be using the latest tools to create DSP designs
optimized for the latest Xilinx FPGAs using RTL. You will also be
involved in design for test and in unit testing. You will be joining a
flexible team, so work may also include modelling, verification,
hardware prototyping and scripting.

Skills and Experience
C or SystemC targeting Vector processing DSPs.
DSP and wireless communication technology development
RTL design (VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog)
Simulation tools (Questa, Xilinx simulator, VCS, IES)
Strong digital design skills
Experience of the following would also be beneficial:
Analyzing and isolating RTL and test bench issues
Scripting languages such as Perl and TCL
Use of FPGA development boards
