The Corporate Development/Investor Relations (CDIR) Project and Operations Manager supports the Xilinx Corporate Development/Investor Relations Organization in its M&A (mergers and acquisitions), venture investment and investor relations communication activities.

 

This highly visible position will work with the Xilinx CDIR team most directly, but also with senior executive leadership, functional and cross-functional Xilinx teams, target/acquired company teams, and external advisors/support teams.
 
Job Responsibilities

  • Support the CDIR function with respect to a variety of program and project management requirements spanning M&A execution and integration, corporate venture investment and investor relations
  • Create and maintain project and program status roll up reports for M&A executive steering committees and Venture investment sponsors as well as senior executive leadership to effectively monitor project and department performance
  • Manage CDIR function budget and coordinate with Finance team to manage overall expenses for inorganic projects, including diligence and integration budgeting incorporating third party spend
  • Develop or support development of CDIR related analyses and presentations for management and Board presentations and institutional investor engagement
  • Coordinate CDIR team metrics roll ups that are reported out monthly/quarterly as well as other key initiative program report outs
  • Assist with overseeing the content creation process and ongoing maintenance of CDIR playbooks and templates to enable learning, scalability, and continual improvement
  • Manage relationship with IR website provider and ensure timely update of information
  • Act as project manager for Xilinx Analyst & Investor Day and support IR team and senior executives in planning non-deal roadshow and Wall Street research conference engagements
  • Set up and administer project infrastructure and management tools for efficient and scalable tracking of multiple, simultaneous, complex M&A, investment and/or IR-related projects
  • Works closely with senior management as well as CEO Staff and/or other key Executives
  • Drive CDIR Staff weekly meeting agenda planning and follow-up execution items
  • Support CDIR semi-annual offsite planning and execution process for Corporate Development and Investor Relations teams
  • Coordinate closely with CDIR staff on managing third party vendor relationships including SOWs, onboarding, activity/spend tracking
  • Architect, set up, and maintain data repositories for CorpDev/IR project data using SharePoint and/or other tools or applications
  • Drive best practices and lessons learned reviews following CDIR projects and key functional events

Qualifications

 

  • Ability to effectively handle highly confidential and market sensitive information
  • Demonstrated track record of successful organization and orchestration of projects at the company level
  • Detail-oriented, attention to follow-through
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote and similar other tools for analyzing, organizing, tracking, reporting and communication of project status
  • Knowledge of project management discipline, project management tools and analysis
  • General can-do attitude to support variety of CorpDev/IR team needs
  • Timeliness, quality and execution will be essential as these programs directly support the CEO staff and Board of Directors
  • BS degree, in science or business; Advanced degree preferred


Desired

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in program, project or process management
  • Process improvement (e.g. Six Sigma, Green Belt)
  • Formal training and certification in project and/or program management preferred
  •  Experience with SmartSheets, Tableau or other ‘data management’ tools
  • M&A transaction execution and/or integration process experience
  • Venture investment experience
  • Meeting facilitation experience
  • Experience driving global projects
  • Experience working with CEO Staff and/or other key Executives and senior management
  • Travel requirements are likely to be around 10-20% but may increase or decrease depending on projects
