Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished Xilinx products.  Primary responsibility is establishing methodologies based on industry standards for debugging Xilinx products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality requirements for company products. Responsible for quality engineering functions related to semiconductor product development and new product Introduction (electronic components, software, & IP) as well as problem investigation and corrective action. This entails process and risk assessments as they relate to the management system implementation, investigation containment, disposition, and excursion management facilitation with multiple engineering disciplines. Participate in the operational aspects of the quality management system, specifically in the administration of the internal audit, corrective action, and process development/continuous improvement initiatives, programs, and projects.

Education:
  • Masters or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Special Requirements:
  • Must have prior work experience, coursework, project background or internship experience in the following:
    1. Semiconductor circuit design, function, and verification
    2. System design using industry standard and leading FPGA design tools  (Altera and Xilinx)
    3. Verilog HDL
    4. RTL level logic design and test bench creation
    5. Timing and power analysis for design optimization
    6. Board level validation
