As part of the Business Applications Soultions (BAS) Team, the Director of Business Applications M&A Integration will be assigned to lead the BAS function in one or more integration projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates broadly across all sub-functions/departments in WWIT and business to coordinate, facilitate, and ensure function is aligned to help deliver deal value drivers.
  • Involvement may be in due diligence, discovery, integration planning, integration execution and project closeout on the deals assigned
  • May support the BAS/WWIT leadership on large and/or complex deals, or drive some functional work streams
  • Attends training and coordination meetings as required
  • Performs Project Management tasks as needed to drive the assigned project(s), including:
    • Meeting management: scheduling, facilitation, note-taking, follow-up for functional and sub-functional meetings
    • Documentation support: development of PPT decks, Excel spreadsheets, process maps, dependency maps, etc.
    • SharePoint document management: updating folders and files in the project SharePoint site
    • Tracking and reporting: updating the Integration Plan of Record (IPOR) and RAID, compiling functional and sub-functional Weekly Status Reports, etc.
    • Lessons Learned: compiling and documenting learnings and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 10+ years experience working in an IT organization of a mid-to-large global company.
  • 5+ years experience managing M&A integration activity across multiple complex, cross-functional, global projects from initiation through close
  • Highly skilled in project management methodologies, like Waterfall and Agile, and able to apply and adapt process to suit team, organizational, and project necessities
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience in a multi-region environment
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with business and IT partners and across Xilinx at all levels to aid effective collaboration and communication
  • Very strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable communicating with all levels within the organization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of ERP, Financial, Sales & Supply Chain processes
  • PMP certified or similar a plus
  • Agile certification a plus
