Xilinx is looking for a talented and self-driven IP Applications Engineer to join our Ethernet and Interlaken IP engineering team.  As a team member, you will play a critical role, working with our customers as they develop the next generation of global communications networks. 


Come join our team as we develop and deliver world class hardened and soft IP products that are broadly deployed in data centre Ethernet, 5G Infrastructure, industrial, and Optical networking, spanning data rates from 1G to 400G (and beyond).



  • BSEE with 2+ years or MSEE with 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Competence in Verilog RTL design. 
  • Competence in a programming language such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
  • Knowledge of ASIC/FPGA EDA flows.
  • Understanding of modern verification practices including System Verilog, OVM and assertion based test.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience and knowledge of communication standards (such as Ethernet, OTN, Interlaken).
  • Experience designing digital communication system (examples would include Ethernet switching/bridging, Optical communications, and packet processing applications).
  • Experience in software development.
  • Experience with Xilinx tools and flow.

Education and Experience Requirements 
  • BSEE with 2+ years or an MSEE
