Job Description

Description

At Xilinx, we are leading the industry transformation to build an adaptable, intelligent world. ARE YOU bold, collaborative, and creative? At Xilinx, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to revolutionize the world of technology.  We believe that by embracing diverse ideas, pushing boundaries, and working together as ONEXILINX, anything is possible.

Our culture of innovation began with the invention of the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), and with the 2018 introduction of our Adaptive Compute Acceleration Platform (ACAP), has made a quantum leap in capability, solidifying our role as the adaptable platform supplier of choice.  From the start, we have always believed in providing inventors with products and platforms that are infinitely adaptable. From self-driving cars, to world-record genome processing, to AI and big data, to the world’s first 5G networks, we empower the world’s builders and visionaries whose ideas solve every day problems and enhance people’s lives.

If you are PASSIONATE, ADAPTABLE, and INNOVATIVE, Xilinx is the right place for you!  At Xilinx we care deeply about creating meaningful development experiences while building a strong sense of belonging and connection. We foster an environment of empowered learning, wellness, community engagement, and recognition, so you can focus on work that matters – world class technology that improves the way we live and work.  We are ONEXILINX.

Xilinx is seeking a talented, self-driven and motivated software engineer to be part of the Vivado IP Integrator team. Vivado IP Integrator is a revolutionary system design environment which raises the design abstraction enabling Xilinx customers to dramatically accelerate the design and verification of complex systems implemented in our All Programmable FPGAs and SoCs. These systems are deployed in a wide variety of applications in communications, automotive, medical, aerospace and defense, test and measurement and more.

Fully integrated with our industry leading Vivado Design Suite, Vivado IP Integrator is the next generation environment for graphical, correct-by-construction, IP centric system design. Built from the ground up using cutting edge industry standard technologies (C++, STL, BOOST, Tcl, IP-XACT, AMBA AXI), IP Integrator delivers powerful capabilities such as intelligent auto-connection of IP interfaces, Designer Assistance, one-click IP subsystem generation and real-time DRCs combined with powerful verification and debug capabilities. Used in conjunction with our rich IP catalog and their own IP, customers can construct sophisticated processor and non-processor systems without ever writing a line of RTL code.

As a member of this talented high-performance team the selected candidate will be responsible for developing innovative new product features designed to enable customers to build ever more complex systems faster and easier. He or she will be involved in all aspects of product development; design, prototyping, implementation, testing, and productization. The IP Integrator team operates in a fast paced start-up like environment offering each of its members immense personal opportunity to contribute to the state of the art in system design and to grow their knowledge and skills in product development and software engineering. In developing products such as IP Integrator, our software engineers also have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth and adoption of Xilinx silicon into new and exciting end customer applications.
