DescriptionXilinx develops highly flexible and adaptive processing platforms that enable rapid innovation across a variety of technologies - from the endpoint to the edge to the cloud. Xilinx is the inventor of the FPGA, hardware programmable SoCs and the ACAP (Adaptive Compute Acceleration Platform), designed to deliver the most dynamic processor technology in the industry and enable the adaptable, intelligent and connected world of the future in a multitude of markets including Data Center (Compute, Storage and Networking); Wireless/5G and Wired Communications; Automotive/ADAS; Emulation & Prototyping; Aerospace & Defense; Industrial Scientific & Medical, and others. Xilinx's core strengths simultaneously address major industry trends including the explosion of data, heterogeneous computing after Moore's Law, and the dawn of artificial intelligence (AI).
Xilinx is seeking a talented, self-driven and motivated software engineer to be part of the Vivado IP Integrator team. Vivado IP Integrator is a revolutionary system design environment which raises the design abstraction enabling Xilinx customers to dramatically accelerate the design and verification of complex systems implemented in our All Programmable FPGAs and SoCs. These systems are deployed in a wide variety of applications in communications, automotive, medical, aerospace and defense, test and measurement and more.
Fully integrated with our industry leading Vivado Design Suite, Vivado IP Integrator is the next generation environment for graphical, correct-by-construction, IP centric system design. Built from the ground up using cutting edge industry standard technologies (C++, STL, BOOST, Tcl, IP-XACT, AMBA AXI), IP Integrator delivers powerful capabilities such as intelligent auto-connection of IP interfaces, Designer Assistance, one-click IP subsystem generation and real-time DRCs combined with powerful verification and debug capabilities. Used in conjunction with our rich IP catalog and their own IP, customers can construct sophisticated processor and non-processor systems without ever writing a line of RTL code.
As a member of this talented high-performance team the selected candidate will be responsible for developing innovative new product features designed to enable customers to build ever more complex systems faster and easier. He or she will be involved in all aspects of product development; design, prototyping, implementation, testing, and productization. The IP Integrator team operates in a fast paced start-up like environment offering each of its members immense personal opportunity to contribute to the state of the art in system design and to grow their knowledge and skills in product development and software engineering. In developing products such as IP Integrator, our software engineers also have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth and adoption of Xilinx silicon into new and exciting end customer applications.
