Xilinx is searching for a Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisition Integration who will help drive company-wide preparation for and execution of merger and acquisition integration projects across the company, including managing successful execution of target company functional integration and achievement of required cost and revenue-generating synergies.  This highly visible position will work with the Xilinx Corporate Development team, functional and cross-functional Xilinx teams, target/acquired company leadership, as well as external advisors/consultants.  This position will report directly to the Head of M&A Integration, Corporate Development at Xilinx.
 
Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of integration strategy, planning and execution from business case development to execution and post-closing value capture, working closely with M&A deal leads.
  • Oversee the development of detailed integration plans and milestones in conjunction with functional business leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate development of key tracking metrics aligned with transaction value drivers and synergy plans.
  • Drive day-to-day execution of the integration process, including leading cross-functional teams, managing weekly integration meetings and proactively driving issue resolution.
  • Present summary integration plans and report progress and key metrics to senior management.
  • Monitor and track transaction performance against value drivers, milestones and metrics.
  • Conduct post-mortems on deal and integration execution.
  • Develop and communicate current and future integration process standards, best practices and guidelines across transactions; support the buildout of repeatable processes and tools for M&A integration.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years total work experience including experience in M&A integration, business operations, corporate operations/consulting and/or program/project management.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated expertise and success in executing and leading M&A integration efforts in a Corporate Development role or as a top-tier consultant.  Demonstrated knowledge of M&A including pre-deal due diligence, integration planning and execution, synergy and cost savings analysis, and/or post-close transformation.
  • MBA preferred; Bachelors in related field required
  • Demonstrated capacity for and success with developing and managing functional and cross-functional relationships, interactions with senior executive leadership, and effective process management.
  • Able to build solid and collaborative relationships with multiple constituencies.
  • Solid knowledge of project management discipline, project management tools and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.  Ability to assess and balance risk.
