Xilinx is seeking a Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer to work in the DevOps Infrastructure team that supports the Software and IP Division.
The DevOps Infrastructure teams primary objective is to provide a highly productive, best-in-class development environment that supports the engineering activities of 600 employees across multiple sites worldwide.
This role will be responsible for assisting in implementing scalable infrastructure solutions for both cloud and non-cloud environments.
Collaborate with DevOps team members to design and implement scalable solutions for the Software and IP development, machine learning frameworks, build, and test environments.
Supporting, maintaining, and improving existing infrastructure automation.
BS or equivalent degree in CS/CE with 9 years experience, or MS or equivalent degree in CS/CE with 7 years experience.
The successful candidate must possess general knowledge of software engineering practices and principles.
The person should have hands on experience with Linux in a programming environment.
Experience in hands on implementation of scale out machine learning frameworks.
He/she should be self-motivated and innovative.
Experience in using Python and Bash shell scripting for automation and programming tasks.
Knowledge of compute, storage, and networking infrastructure.
