Job Description

 

The Product Engineer - NPI Operations will evaluate and assist in the development of Xilinx internal product analysis tools through extensive data mining and data analytics. 

  

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance testing and debugging of these tools as they go through revision enhancements. 
  • Work extensively with Product Engineering Group to understand their requirements to help develop tool functionalities that automate and enhance the quality of data analysis. 
  • Perform data mining and statistical data analysis on wafer sort and final test parametrics to support initial product assessment
  • Work closely with Tools Development engineers to feedback binning, yield and parametric results to enhance various Tools’ capabilities and functions
  • Develop methodologies to automate analytical tasks using scripting languages

Qualifications:

  • BS (required) or MS (preferred) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor industry
  • Excellent problem solving and failure debug skills are required
  • Basic understanding of product test methodology and implementation is a plus
  • Hands-on knowledge on JMP statistical analysis tool and scripting languages such as Perl and Python are a plus
