The Senior Staff Quality Engineer will serve as the technical Lead in the corporate quality function reporting to the Director of Corporate Quality.
The primary responsibilities of this role are to provide technical expertise to product risk assessment activities, lead technical investigations of Quality incidents, and manage day to day activities related to the qualification and certification of Xilinx A&D products.
As a significant output in this role the Quality leader will have direct participation in the development of industry leading processes and controls related to the introduction of new products, including Si, Tools, and IP, to Deliver Absolute Quality.
Responsible for coordinating and executing internal and external audit of the Xilinx Quality Management System within the frame work of ISO9001:2016, TL9000 Rev 6, and IATF 16949
Perform as a lead Auditor for internal audits of the Quality Management Systems (QMS), and evaluate technical risks relative to product and systems
Coordinate and consult with various engineering functions in Silicon Engineering, Product Test engineering, supplier quality, yield engineering, & Operations to develop a seamless Quality measurement, analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement process.
Coordinates activities to resolve Quality Incidents and drive continual improvements while effectively tracking and addressing product quality issues to minimize customer impact.
Develops and implements the systems needed to evaluate and control product quality, compliance to standards, and execution to procedures in order to ensure a flawless customer experience.
Use the corporate Continual Improvement Action system to drive 5 Why root cause determination, and implementation of improvements
Contribute and maintain various other quality related activities as needed.
