This role would help lead the design, development and verification of the next generation devices for Xilinx.
Responsibility: To manage a team of engineers and program managers responsible for Silicon design and CAD development of Xilinx products. The candidate will manage directly and through dotted lines a worldwide team of approximately 100 engineers engaged in developing Silicon components, including the core building blocks of FPGA products and CAD tools/flows. This would involve managing directly and/or indirectly teams involved in RTL design, verification, physical design, CAD tools/flows and libraries. The role is also responsible for managing a cross-functional program management office that is responsible for successful execution of Silicon programs from the definition phase through to production.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, Masters preferred.
Job Requirements: The ideal candidate has at least 15 years of experience in the development of semiconductor products. Prior experience managing the development of complex ASIC/SoC/FPGA products is required. The ideal candidate would have seen multiple FPGA, ASIC or SoC programs through all stages of development, starting with architecture definition, development and finally ending in silicon bring-up, validation and rollout to production. The candidate must have deep technical background in one or more of the following areas: architecture, circuit design, logic design, physical design, verification, IP development. Experience with circuit design, modern technology nodes, state-of-the-art CAD tools and flows, DSM FPGA/SoC/ASIC methodologies is essential. The candidate must also be able to lead and drive interactions with cross-functional stakeholders and secure complex Silicon program execution. The candidate must be self-driven, curious and eager to expand his or her horizons. We are looking for a motivated individual who will guide his/her team but does not hesitate to roll up his or her sleeves if needed to get some work done. We are also looking for a leader with strong interpersonal skills, a team player and one who build strong relationships. The ideal candidate would also have demonstrated experience leading global teams.
